Location: Colchester, CO7
Pay: £13.30 - £13.50 per hour
A busy fresh produce company in Colchester is looking for a Line Leader to join the production team. This is a hands-on role working on a fruit packing line, supporting staff, and helping daily production run smoothly.
The role would suit someone with experience in food manufacturing and team leading in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and organising staff on the packing line
- Helping the team meet daily production targets
- Packing fresh produce when needed
- Making sure orders are completed correctly and on time
- Checking product quality and packaging standards
- Reducing waste where possible
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Training and supporting team members
- Maintaining HACCP and BRC standards
Requirements
- Previous Team Leader or similar experience in an industrial environment
- Food manufacturing experience is essential
- Good understanding of HACCP and food safety
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence required
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Working Hours
- 5 days per week on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday)
- 07:30am – 5:00pm
- Flexibility needed, including some later finishes up to 8:00pm
