CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator – Back Shift

Full-Time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business within the fastener industry on a permanent back shift basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong CNC machining experience who can work independently and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate CNC machinery
- Operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls
- Work from customer drawings and specifications
- Produce components to tight tolerances
- Inspect and check own work to ensure quality standards are met
- Prove out programs at the machine
- Report tooling requirements to the Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement and training initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines
- Experience using Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of machining processes and quality standards
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fastener industry experience advantageous but not essential
